slip and degassing agent for powder coatings

jietonda® sa500 is a micro wax based slip and degassing agent developed especially for powder coatings, which can be used as a slip promoter or a substitute of benzoin in various coating system.

2. characteristics
　 ● aid to reduce coating melt-flow viscosity and improve wetting of resin binder to substrate and pigment dispersing properties. therefore, the smooth surface and better appearance can be obtained.
　 ● can be used as a substitute of benzoin in powder coatings to impart better degassing and less yellowing effects. especially, used in β-haa system,to provide weather-resistant coating with more satisfied properties such as film thickness up to 100μm without air-bubble.
　 ● due to its own lubricating character, improve the anti-caking and sieve-passing properties of coating powder and prevent blockage of spray gun simultaneously.
　 ● exhibit good anti-mar property at proper added amounts.

3. use method & levels
　 ● premix sa500 with other components of the formula before extrusion.
　 ● the use level is 0.5-1.0% by total weight of formula.

4. package & storage
　 ● packaging with pe lined kraft paper bags. net weight 20kg per bag.
　 ● store in temperature between 2-32℃ or cool and dry place. keep package closed after using. keep away from heat and fire.
　 ● based on our experience the shelf life of this product under above conditions is at least 2 years.
